The Carnegie Center for Art and History, a branch of the Floyd County Library, is open to the public in accordance with CDC recommendations and Floyd County Library policies. Masks are optional.

As a public entity the Carnegie Center has designated entrances, restrooms, and elevator services that are compliant for accessibility following State and Federal ADA requirements.
Group tours are available for current art exhibitions, as well as the ongoing history exhibitions Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage: Men and Women of the Underground Railroad and Remembered: The Life of Lucy Higgs Nichols. Tours are available Tuesday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays with limited availability.

The Carnegie Center for Art and History is excited to offer a customizable experience for children in grades Pre-K through 12. Schools, non-profits community organizations, and homeschool groups in Southern Indiana may choose from FREE on-site or off-site programs in both art and history.
